How do you choose the flowers you put in the Posies?
It’s simple. We only choose flowers that are available and in-season, extremely fresh (we always ask our flower consultants at the market when those specific flowers arrived), and flowers that mesh well together fitting the Posy vibe that day.
How do I know what my Fresh Posy will look like since it changes every time I order?
You won’t, but that’s the beauty of it! You get a different, yet stunning, Posy every time you order, which keeps things fresh and exciting, and also assures you won’t repetitively order the same thing for your recipient by mistake! However, if you want more reassurance, you can log onto our social media pages to see previous posies we’ve sent out.
Where do your fresh flowers come from?
We buy our flowers from a local floral wholesaler and importer in Miami, FL. Their flowers come from all over the world including tulips and ranunculus from Holland, roses from Holland and Ecuador, and protea from Holland and California!
How do I take care of my Fresh Posies once they arrive?
Attached to every Posy is a flower care card instructing you on the best way to make your Posies live their fullest life. Changing the water every day and trimming the stems half an inch at a 45-degree angle, at least every other day, will ensure your Posies live a fulfilling, happy life!
How long will my Fresh Posies last for?
With the proper care (provided on our flower care card attached to your Posy), our Posies can last up to 2.5 weeks! Sometimes longer depending on the type of flowers!
What's the deal with Preserved Posies?
Our Preserved Posies use real roses that have been fixed in a dye solution in order to last 4-5 years without any water or care. They have no odor (since they have been fixed). They come in two sizes -- mini and regular (large). All of our Preserved Posies come in 4 different size acrylic boxes with a rose gold copper detachable lid that can be reused after Posy use, if you choose.
Are they safe?
Totally. However, there is a slight chance that the dye can rub off on your fingers if you touch them repeatedly, so it's better to not touch them too much. Additionally, they should not be ingested, similarly to fresh florals.

Where do you deliver and is there a delivery fee?
Right now, we deliver from South Miami to Fort Lauderdale. Depending on the delivery area, there is a delivery fee between $5 and $20 already included in the price of the posy. There is no additional delivery fee upon checkout. Deliveries in South Florida outside of this range are possible, but may incur a higher delivery fee. What days and times do you deliver Posies?
Though we do not guarantee a specific time frame, our deliveries go out between 12 PM – 5 PM Monday through Saturday. We are closed for delivery on Sundays. If you are requesting a delivery outside of these parameters, please email us at email@example.com for more information.
Can I do same day delivery?
Yes, but your Posy order MUST be placed before 10 AM EST on that day.
What if the person I am sending Posies to isn’t home when you deliver?
We recommend choosing a delivery date that you know someone will be able to able to accept the delivery in order to prevent damage to the Posy, such as bugs or weather issues. However, if nobody is able to accept the delivery, the Posy will be left in a shaded, covered area (if possible) closest to the door. If you live in a building with a doorman, the Posy will be left with the doorman.
Can you deliver to my office?
Of course! Just make sure to enter the full address, including suite number, AND name of the company when you are checking out.
What if I received the wrong size Posy or my Posy was damaged upon receipt?
We really hope not! However, we know things can happen and if either of these do, please take photographs and email your claim to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will review and issue you a full refund if warranted.
What if there is a natural disaster during my scheduled delivery date?
If there is a hurricane, extreme storm, or any other natural occurrences that have the potential to effect our local deliveries and the safety of our delivery personnel, we will notify you via the primary email contact on the account at least 24 hours prior to your delivery. We will give you the option to cancel your delivery with a full refund, or reschedule it for a different day. If you choose to reschedule, we will give you a coupon code with a discount on your next order as a Posy courtesy.
Can I cancel/modify my Posy Package and if so, how?
Yes, you can cancel or modify your Posy Package. In order to modify or cancel payments and deliveries for your subscription, please email us at email@example.com under the following circumstances:
- If you wish to cancel/modify your weekly package, you must cancel at least 72 hours prior to the next expected delivery date.
- If you wish to cancel/modify your bi-weekly package, you must cancel at least 5 days prior to the next expected delivery date.
- If you wish to cancel/modify your monthly package, you must cancel at least 7 days prior to the next expected delivery date.
Please keep in mind that Posy subscriptions are only available for our Jar Posies.
What happens if I want to amend my order once it’s been placed (edit, remove, add a personal card, or change the size/quantity of my Posy order)?
If you wish to make any changes to your order, please email firstname.lastname@example.org within 24 hours of placing the order and we will try our hardest to amend these. After 24 hours, your order is final and will be delivered as it was ordered.
What if I want to cancel an order I placed?
No problem! Please contact us at least 48 hours prior to the delivery date in order to cancel your delivery and receive a full refund. If you contact us to cancel within 48 hours of the delivery date, your order will not be delivered and we will not be able to issue you a refund, unfortunately. We hope you understand as the flowers for the order would have already been purchased.
How do I cancel my account?
We hope you don’t have to do this, but if you wish to cancel your account, please go to the Account page and click on the ‘Cancel’ button. If you have any pending orders for delivery, including those in a subscription, you won’t be able to cancel your account until after the delivery has been made.
How far in advance can I place an order?
There is no limit! Place away your Posy orders! However, please keep in mind in order to receive Posies on the same day, you must place your order before 10 AM EST.
For the Fresh Posies, can I request a certain color scheme, flower type, or vessel besides the mason jars?
Though we don’t recommend placing too many custom orders, because it can limit The Posy’s creativity and certain flowers requested might be out of season, you can email email@example.com to discuss placing your specific orders.
